Volunteering for Deafblind UK is an exciting and rewarding way to spend your free time. As a volunteer, the difference you can make to people with combined sight and hearing loss is second to none and what’s more, you don’t need any special experience or skills to do it!

As a growing national charity, we are always on the look out for volunteers to help us in a range of difference capacities and locations, all with varying levels of commitment. Whether you have just an hour or a whole week to give us, there’s something for you.

From befriending and running social groups to office work, gardening and driving, if you’ve got the time, we’ve got a role for you!

As a new volunteer, you will receive an appropriate induction with full training and ongoing support and advice to help you get to grips with the role and really make a difference to the people we support.

If you would like to talk through any of our volunteering opportunities to find out what they involve or whether they are right for you, just give our friendly team a call on 01733 358100 or email info@deafblind.org.uk.

Also, why not like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter to get instant updates about new roles.
We ask all our volunteers to provide two suitable references and to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

We welcome and actively encourage applications from people who have disabilities. If you require any support, for example, communication support or an interpreter, please tell us as soon as possible.
