There are many ways that your company can support deafblind people, whilst also and enhancing your team building and corporate social responsibility.
Charity of the year
Could Deafblind UK be your company’s Charity of the Year? We would be delighted to be considered for this or any other corporate social responsibility schemes that you may have. You’d be in esteemed company, as the new Mayor of Peterborough, Chris Ash, has named us one of his three Charities of the Year for 2018/19.
Use your corporate volunteering days to make a real difference to deafblind people. A recent corporate volunteering project saw staff create a sensory garden for our supported living complex, Rainbow Court. Click here to read more about volunteering with Deafblind UK.
Fundraising days are an enjoyable way to get your team together and support people with dual sensory loss. Raffles, bake sales and dress down days are some easy ways to get involved. Why not combine the day with a deafblind awareness talk or training from our experts?
