Deafblind Convention 2021 -information for speakers

Welcome to the Deafblind Convention 2021, the UK’s first virtual conference focusing on living better with sight and hearing loss. It’s going to be a great day! Here are some things you need to know.

Please ensure that you have provided us with:

  • A photo, biog and information about your talk (speakers)
  • Your logo and information about your organisation (exhibitors)
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Consent (see below)

Spread the word

We would love you to invite your contacts to this event. It is free to attend and delegates can drop in and out as they wish (although we think they will want to stay all day!)  So, get chatting, Tweeting and emailing to help us spread the word. We have created some useful assets that you can download and use to promote the event.

You can check out the full agenda on the event page here.

Technical guidance

The event will be hosted on the Hubilo system. This is a really user friendly and accessible platform so we think you’ll get on just fine. But, just in case, we have put together some technical instructions to help you on the day.

We would like to use short video clips and stills (photos) of your talk to market this and future events. Please let us know if you are happy for us to do this, by completing our consent form.

This event is free to attend, speak at and exhibit at. If you would like to make a donation to Deafblind UK to help cover the costs of running the event, you can do so by clicking here.
