University is about so much more than studying for a degree. It’s about gaining independence and taking control of your future. Everyone should be enabled to join in and benefit from these opportunities. But there are barriers that can make this difficult for blind, partially sighted and deafblind students.
We have teamed up with Thomas Pocklington Trust to launch #UniInSight, to take a look at what universities and fellow students can do to so that everyone can participate in any activities and opportunities they wish to.
This campaign has been informed by the students TPT’s Student Support Service has supported. We encourage blind, partially sighted and deafblind students to continue to share their experiences so that we can all learn and increase inclusivity.
