Training

We want to ensure that all our volunteers feel informed and confident about the work they are doing. So, as part of your welcome package, all new volunteers are asked to complete a short online training course about Deafblind UK, Deafblind awareness and data protection. Depending on you role, you may also need to do training on safeguarding, equality and diversity, manual handling and active listening.

In Touch e-newsletter

Our quarterly email newsletter, In Touch, keeps you up to date on our work and shows what your support has enabled us to do. Click here to subscribe.

Open Hand magazine

Open Hand is a quarterly magazine written for people with sight and hearing loss. Our volunteers are welcome to subscribe to the magazine via email, to keep up with industry news and updates. Click here to subscribe
