What is a fundraising volunteer?
There are lots of different fundraising activities to get involved in, depending on your interests, experience and skills. For example, over the past few months, our volunteers have helped collect money at football matches, gone door-to-door with Santa and sold raffle tickets at a ten-pin bowling event!
Fundraising for Deafblind UK will suit people who are warm, friendly, enjoy meeting new people and are willing to learn about deafblindness.
How can I benefit?
We have volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds and age groups. Volunteering experience can help you develop new skills and gain experience which will appeal to universities and employers. It can also be a great way to get out of the house, meet new people and feel a sense of achievement knowing you have made a difference to people living with deafblindness.
