Our wellbeing callers are the backbone of our support services, helping deafblind people through their darkest hours and supporting carers and other professionals in any way they need.
Our volunteers offer advice, signposting or a listening ear to anyone who calls our Information and Advice Line. They also make outbound calls to our members to check on their wellbeing, or just to wish them a Happy Birthday!
Wellbeing callers work alongside our support team from our head office in Peterborough. The time commitment greatly depends on what you can spare us, but we do like our Information and Advice Line volunteers to maintain a regular time pattern of some sort.
