Sensory Impairment and Live Music Survey

The charity, Attitude is Everything, works to remove barriers to accessing live music for all deaf and disabled people. To do so effectively, the charity would like to better understand the barriers people with a range of impairments face and what can be done to combat them.

They have recently launched a new survey, aiming to capture the specific barriers that people with hearing and sight loss, including British Sign Language (BSL) users,  may face when attending gigs and festivals, as well as examples of where venues are getting accessibility right.

The results obtained from this research will help to inform updated guidance for the music industry on increasing the accessibility of their events for people with hearing and visual impairments.

If you’d like to take part in the survey please do so  here.
