Gifts in wills

A gift in your Will helps us make the world a brighter place for people who are deafblind.

Your legacy, no matter how big or small, means we can keep supporting people with deafblindness now and for years to come. More and more people are affected by deafblindness every year, and thanks to people like you, we’re able to provide vital emotional and practical support.

Your legacy can create a brighter future

After you have looked after your loved ones, your gift could make a real difference to people living with deafblindness; it could help us to run more social groups to give people who are deafblind more opportunities to connect with others; it could give someone a weekly visit from a befriender or it could keep our helpline open so we can be there for someone who needs sympathy and support.

How you can change lives

A gift of £400 means you could give someone living with deafblindness a full counselling course to support them through a difficult time in their life.

By leaving £600 you could pay for a person who is deafblind and their family to enjoy a respite break where they can unwind and make lifelong memories in safe, deafblind friendly accommodation

£1200 left in your will could fund life-changing assistive technology. Many of the people we support rely on technology to connect with their family and lead the life they want to.

Jean's story

Deafblindness affects more and more people each year. By 2029 it is estimated that nearly 539,000 people in the UK will be deafblind. Your legacy, no matter how big or small, will allow us to continue to support people with deafblindness in years to come.

“It has totally changed my life... I’ve got someone else to talk to and someone else to think about”
