Camino de Santiago 2026

Wednesday 7 – Sunday 11 October 2026

Trek the historic Camino de Santiago for Deafblind UK!

Join us in Spain for a challenge like no other – trekking the final 67km of the famous Camino Frances – the French Way. Starting in Palas de Rei, we begin our three-day trekking adventure along this popular pilgrimage route. We will trek through rolling green landscapes, traditional villages and picturesque woodlands on our way to Santiago, discovering local traditions and meeting fellow pilgrims along the way. Today the Camino is more than a pilgrimage, it is a remarkable journey and a unique experience. Our final destination is the magical Santiago Old Town, a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage site, home to the stunning Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela!

Take part in the Camino de Santiago Trek for Deafblind UK and help us to continue delivering our vital services, free of charge, to improve the lives of people who are deafblind across the UK.

Fundraising options:

With £3 million needing to be raised each year to fund Deafblind UK’s full range of services, the difference your support makes cannot be overstated. Every £25 you raise could provide a person with deafblindness vital contact from our befriending service for two months, helping to ease loneliness.  The registration fee for this event is £249 and will be due upon registration.

Fund your entry in one of two ways:

  • Self-funding – you pay the remaining balance of your challenge cost (£1,200), leaving you with no minimum fundraising commitment – just raise as much as you can!
  • Charity sponsorship – Commit to raising £2,400 sponsorship for Deafblind UK and, as long as you reach the fundraising goal, Deafblind UK will cover the remaining balance of your challenge for you!
