Starting at Clapham Common, you’ll soon leave the buzz of the city behind and cycle along quiet country lanes passing through Carshalton, Banstead, Turner’s Hill and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge of Ditchling Beacon - a mile - long climb to the top of the South Downs where you will be rewarded with stunning 360ᵒ views! The 55-mile journey ends with an unforgettable finish along the Brighton’s spectacular seafront with cheering crowds lining the home straight.
