Deafblind UK launches its Summer Draw to raise money and give cash prizes

Deafblind UK Summer Draw

Deafblind UK has launched its online ‘Summer Draw’ where players can win a minimum of £1000 whilst also raising money for the charity.

You can enter from just £5 and all proceeds are split between the jackpot winner and Deafblind UK.

Director of Fundraising Shirley Scotcher said: “We are so excited to launch our Summer Draw, after the past year we have really had to change the way we fundraise and this gives us a fantastic opportunity to raise money to support our members and give someone a nice cash prize too. As a charity, we need to raise £35,000 every week to continue the work we do, so it’s really heartwarming to see so much support for our Summer Draw already.”

Deafblind UK supports people with sight and hearing loss to live with their condition and to build their confidence and independence. Deafblindness is a combined sight and hearing loss that effects your mobility, communication and access to information. It affects people in so many different ways, from having to make small adjustments at home, to being fully reliant on other people.

The draw is run and managed by Ascend Fundraising Solutions. “It is our honour to partner with Deafblind UK,” said Daniel Lewis, CEO at Ascend Fundraising Solutions, “This is an exciting opportunity for someone to win a great prize while supporting an organization that plays a critical role in the community.”

Enter online for your chance to win – visit www.deafblind.org.uk/summerdraw for more details. The winning ticket will be drawn on 13th August 2021.
