21 – 22 June 2025
Walk, jog or run the Cotswold Way Challenge for Deafblind UK!
100 / 75 / 50 or 25 km challenge
The magical Cotswold Way provides a stunning setting for a testing challenge – with some fantastic views en route and tough hills in between! Base camp in Cirencester is the hub for a full challenge looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, an amazing setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves. You’ll get full support and hospitality, including optional university style accommodation at base-camp. Choose from the full challenge, three-quarter challenge, half challenge, quarter distance option or even 10km or 10 miles, as an an introduction. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.
Take on the Cotswold Way Challenge for Deafblind UK and help provide vital support to people who are deafblind across the UK.
What’s included?
- Pre-event training guides and access to the challenge app
- Hot meals, drinks and snacks en-route
- Experienced marshals, medics and massage teams at rest stops
- Fully-signed route
- Finisher’s medal, t-shirt and a glass of bubbly
- Shuttle buses and transfers
Fundraising options:
With £3 million needing to be raised each year to fund Deafblind UK’s full range of services, the difference your support makes cannot be overstated. Every £25 that you raise could pay for another hour of specialist wellbeing support for someone who is deafblind.
Choose your challenge distance and fund your entry in one of three ways:
- Self-funding – you pay the full cost of the event place with no minimum fundraising commitment – just raise as much as you can!
- Charity sponsorship – you pay a reduced registration fee and, providing you reach the fundraising goal, Deafblind UK will cover the cost of your event place
- Mixed funding – you pay half of the event place cost yourself and, providing you reach the fundraising goal, Deafblind UK will pay the balance of the event place cost
Please note: when taking part in Ultra Challenge events you are asked to pledge to raise a sponsorship target when registering for ‘charity sponsorship’ and ‘mixed funding’ options. The sponsorship target depends on the distance of your challenge.
