Face the flames and support people who are deafblind!

When: Friday 21 March 2025

Where: Peterborough Cathedral

It’s time to turn up the heat for the very first Deafblind UK Firewalk! Dubbed ‘the hottest, shortest sponsored walk in the world’, the firewalk is a barefoot walk over red-hot wood embers measuring up to 800 degrees! No tricks, no special effects. Just you and the fire. It’s the ultimate test of courage and the perfect challenge for any fitness level.

“A totally fantastic night out, it was laughter from the moment I stepped in the door to the moment I left it, just brilliant” – Firewalker

The front facade of Peterborough Cathedral, with its many gothic arches and pinnacles. There is a lightly cloudy sky in the light of early evening.

Set in the stunning grounds of Peterborough Cathedral, our firewalk is a truly life-affirming experience. Not only will you conquer the most primal of fears, you’ll raise vital funds to support people who are deafblind too. And after all, if you can walk on fire, you can find the confidence to do anything!

No previous training required. You’ll be treated to a lighthearted, interactive training seminar in the historic Knight's Chamber, leaving you feeling fired up and ready to face the flames!

Our firewalking expert has guided 1,000s of people across the fire, over a 35-year career, so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.

Spaces for this bucket list experience are limited to just 100 participants, so we recommend that you register early to avoid disappointment.

This event is deafblind-friendly - We will have a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter and venue guides on hand to ensure the training seminar is accessible to all participants.
