Do you have Usher Syndrome or care for someone who does? Do you have a question, need to find support, or just want to chat to someone?

The Usher Syndrome Helpline is your first port of call.

The phoneline is free to call and is open Monday to Friday 10 AM until 1 PM, excluding bank holidays. This service is available in English and British Sign Language (BSL).

Scotland: Book a BSL/English interpreter for a call with us via Contact Scotland BSL

Launched in 2026, the free helpline is managed by Deafblind UK and Deafblind Scotland, and connected to a network of partner charities and organisations who understand Usher Syndrome and the issues that can come with it.

We are here to support you whatever your age, whatever stage of your Usher journey you are on, and whatever type of Usher syndrome you have.
