Take your running to the next level in Europe’s leading 10 mile running event for Deafblind UK!
The AJ Bell Great South Run is an unforgettable event with inspiring history, salty air and glorious sea views guaranteed. Portsmouth’s supporters will line the streets to keep your spirits and motivation up the whole way round, with blaring music, cheers, high fives, fist bumps all part of the incredible AJ Bell Great South Run experience.
And, whether you are a first-time fundraiser or a seasoned runner looking to chase a personal best, running for Deafblind UK will give you that extra motivation to succeed knowing that, with every step, you are supporting the care of deafblind people across the UK.
The Route
Stand alongside 20,000 fellow runners at the seafront start line and soak in the sunshine. Along the way, you’ll pass by famous landmarks such as Clarence Pier and Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard with cheering crowds lining the streets before reaching the finish line beside beach at Southsea Pier.
The course is fast and flat, with great views across the Solent of the Isle of Wight and music keeping you going the whole way round.

You can secure your place on the start line today for free with a commitment to raise at least £100 sponsorship for those living with deafblindness. Deafblind UK have a limited number of charity places in the AJ Bell Great South Run on Sunday 20 October 2024 and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. So, it is recommended to submit your application early to avoid disappointment.
