Could you take on the mighty sand dunes and scorching temperatures of the Sahara for Deafblind UK?

Rediscover true adventure (and hidden resilience) in a life-changing 100km trek through the vast and beautiful wilderness of the Sahara Desert.

Over five days, you will pass through Morocco’s awe-inspiring landscape punctuated by shifting dunes, rocky peaks, gorges, and desert oases. At night, you will experience sleeping under Africa’s stunning star-strewn skies and enjoy traditional cuisine and hospitality with your local Berber guides.

The Sahara Trek is tough but achievable; with some training and determination, anyone with a good level of fitness can conquer the desert. Whether you take on the trek with friends or by yourself and make new friends along the way, nothing will compare to the sense of elation and achievement when you reach the finish celebrations at Quarzazate!

Fundraising options:

With £3 million needing to be raised each year to fund Deafblind UK’s full range of services, the difference your support makes cannot be overstated. Every £25 that you raise could pay for another hour of specialist wellbeing support for someone who is deafblind.

Once you’ve decided to take on Sahara Trek 2025, there are three ways to fund your challenge:

Minimum Sponsorship – Pay a £250 registration fee when you book. Then, raise a minimum of £2,540 for Deafblind UK.
Self-funder – Pay a £250 registration fee when you book. Then, pay a balance of £1,245 (10 weeks before your challenge) and simply raise as much as you can for Deafblind UK!
Flexi – Pay a £250 registration fee when you book. Then, pay a further £250 towards challenge costs (10 weeks before your challenge) and raise a minimum of £2,030 for Deafblind UK.
