Dr Liz Hodges
Ambassador
Dr Liz Hodges has worked with people who are deafblind for well over thirty years. Liz brings a great deal of knowledge and many years of experience to her role as an Ambassador. During this time, she’s worked with children, young adults, in local authority, schools and voluntary organisations. She has also been a leader in Higher Education for training specialists in deafblindness, particularly for specialist teachers of deafblind learners.
Throughout her career, Liz has also been involved in research focused on deafblindness, education, older people as well as a range of other topics. She’s spoken at a range of national and international conferences.
