Rod joined Deafblind UK in 2008 as a Management Accountant, his first role in the not-for-profit sector having spent the previous six years at Volvo Construction. Rod has in-depth knowledge of all areas of Deafblind UK having previously overseen IT and HR, as well as heading up a subsidiary to delivering support and guidance to individuals receiving Direct Payments and Personal Health Budgets. He is passionate about delivering quality services whilst at the same time providing value for money to our funders. Rod’s interests include most sports, particularly football and cricket, and anything relating to history.
