Uganda marathon

Start your fundraising journey with us today!

Fundraising can be as simple as asking your local shop or pub to hold one of our collection boxes on the counter, baking some tasty treats and selling them at work or school, or holding a raffle with donated prizes. Or if you’re up for a bigger challenge, why not get sponsored to do a walk, run, bike ride, swim, sky dive, wing walk – or anything else on your bucket list? Nothing is too big or too small for #TeamDBUK!

Like our members, you don’t have to go the distance alone. Our fabulous fundraising team are on hand to guide you through the process.

Why not get your friends, family, colleagues or community group involved? You could also ask your workplace or school to support us as their Charity of the Year.

How much you raise is up to you, but set yourself a goal so that you have that added satisfaction when you completely smash it!

Completing the London Marathon

“Running the London Marathon for Deafblind UK was one of the best days of my life. The main reason I wanted to achieve the distance was not only to challenge myself, raise money for an extremely good cause but also to set my mind to something and focus my determination. With enough time, training and commitment, I do believe anyone has the capability to complete a marathon.”
